What GDS systems are supported?
The system offers the option to decode/convert/format/translate a PNR from the major GDS systems:
- Amadeus is a multi-GDS services company which distributes inventory and content to the world's global distribution systems.
- Sabre GDS System provides data-rich solutions that give travel buyers and suppliers unique insights into their operations that help to manage your travel business, reducing costs and improving revenues.
- The Worldspan GDS system enables travel agencies and travel companies to provide comprehensive airline contents to their customers.
How to decode/convert a PNR?
There are a couple of steps, lengthy process, in properly decoding/converting or translating a PNR into customer friendly formats:
- Step 1. Retrieve/display the PNR in your GDS of choice.
- Step 2. Identify airline, flight numbers, airports, times, timezones.
- Step 3. Lookup airline names, airport details (name, city, country), timezones.
- Step 4. Edit/format a document / email with all these information.
